Open Ice 3on3 Annual Spring Tournament
Your brother, sister, mother, father and maybe even grandmother or grandfather have all played in this event. It’s generational!! After 25 years, we’ve seen thousands of participants play. If you are an NHLer or a beer leaguers or a beginner … we were playing 3on3 before 3on3 was cool. So … if you are from the north, or a hockey traveller looking for a fun new challenge, we are happy to welcome players old and new!!

The Open Ice tournament holds many fond memories and is a long standing tradition here in Sault Ste. Marie. This event marks the end of the hockey season and brings friends together for a final weekend before breaking out our shorts and slides.
Over the years we’ve donated to many, many charitable organizations. The Sault Area Hospital Foundation (Cancer Clinic), ARCH, Adaptive Canuck ALS Foundation and the Mike Doan Scholarship Fund are just a few of the great causes that have all benefited from the Open Ice 3on3 event.​​

In 2012 Open Ice 3on3 introduced the OPEN ICE CUP!! We are excited to continue the tradition year after year.
